Public Taxi Service
A metered taxi stand is located outside of the Phuket airport main terminal building. The average fare from Phuket airport to Karon 900 baht (always agree the price before leaving). The trip will usually take approximately one hour to Karon.
NOTE Phuket airport metered taxis have limited space for luggage. If you have large and bulky luggage and more than 2 passengers consider a limousine or minibus transfer.
Limousine and Minibus Services
Several companies provide limousine and minibus services at Phuket airport. Service counters are located outside on the arrivals level. Fixed price lists are available for private limousine, private minibus and shared minibus transfers.
NOTE A shared minibus transfer can be considerably longer, depending on how many other stops are made on the way.
